On Thursday the 26th of April two teams from Garbally college will be taking part in the national finals of the F1 in schools competition. The finals will be held in Griffith college, Dublin. Team Arrow and Team Garbally Racing both got through from the regional finals held in GMIT Castlebar. Team Arrow also won a prize for having the fastest car. The teams were judged on their cars speed and design, website, powerpoint presentation, and twenty page plan.
Garbally College has been serving the educational needs of Ballinasloe and its hinterland since its foundation in 1892.
It has a long and proud tradition as a seminary and a boarding school.
