Work experience is an important part of transition year.  It gives you an insight to what working life is like outside of school.  During your time doing work experience you develop skills such as communication, performing skills and social skills by working with other colleagues
First you start looking for your work experience by going from shop to shop, asking the manager or owner if they would consider employing you.  Work experience takes place every Wednesday and you also under go a work week, which gives you a real taste of what it’s like to work 9.00 a.m. till 5.00 p.m.


Future careers are formed during this part of Transition Year
